Strawberry & Lime Refresher

Ready for a refreshing summer sip? 🍓✨

This week’s recipe is a Sparkling Strawberry Lime Refresher. A light, fruity, and hydrating drink made with fresh strawberries, zesty lime juice, coconut water, and sparkling water. Naturally sweetened with maple syrup and served over ice, this refreshing beverage is perfect for warm summer afternoons, brunch gatherings, or a simple wellness boost during the week.

Mocktails like this are becoming increasingly popular because they can support reduced alcohol consumption, which may help decrease inflammation, improve hydration, and support overall hormone balance, energy, and sleep quality all while still feeling fun and celebratory ✨

Strawberry Refresher

  • 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries

  • Juice from 1 Lime

  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup (Or Alternative Sweetener)

  1. Prep fruit: Rinse the strawberries and lime well. Slice a few strawberries and lime rounds for garnish, then hull the remaining strawberries for blending.

  2. Blend base: Add the fresh strawberries, lime juice, and maple syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth and fully combined.

  3. Prepare glasses: Fill two glasses with a handful of ice. Add the sliced strawberries and lime rounds for a bright, refreshing touch. Pour the strawberry mixture evenly into each glass.

  4. Finish drink: Top each glass with sparkling & coconut water and gently stir to combine without losing too much fizz.

  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately while cold and bubbly ✨

Tatum’s Recipe Hacks:

✨ To boost the nutrition of your Summer Refresher, try adding fresh mint leaves, chia seeds, or a splash of orange juice for extra vitamins and flavor. You can also reduce or skip the maple syrup if your strawberries are naturally sweet. Using coconut water helps replenish electrolytes, making this drink a refreshing option for hydration on warm days or after workouts.

❓ 🍓 Strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside — the average strawberry has around 200 seeds! Even though they’re called berries, strawberries technically aren’t true berries in the botanical world, while bananas surprisingly are. Sparkling fruit drinks like this refresher have become especially popular as healthier alternatives to sugary sodas because they combine natural fruit flavors with light carbonation and hydration.
